It is now widely recognised that knowledge of inter-connectivity & technological-convergence is becoming incredibly fundamental in networking. Networking is in fact undergoing some key paradigm-shifts right now; both in processing terms and in data-storage, with internet based computing gaining momentum & 'green I.T.' becoming increasingly relevant. The introduction of 'green' I.T. addresses 2 essential elements : reducing the effect on the environment is one, but perhaps of equal relevance to business is expense. Lower-power processors & computers create less heat, therefore less cooling is necessary.
